OKXIT

A storytelling card deck. 46 cards, drawn with crayon, marker and pencil by the participants of our Erasmus+ youth exchange. No titles, no numbers on the cards. You bring the meaning.

Sit together, open this page on every phone, and play. One player tells, everyone else guesses. Your hand stays on your own screen.

Explore the deck

STEP 1 SIT TOGETHER Four or five players in one room, each with their own phone. Everyone gets five cards that only they can see. One player is the storyteller; the role moves to the next person every round, so everybody tells once.

STEP 2 SAY THE CLUE The storyteller picks one card without showing it and says a clue out loud — a word, a sentence, a sound, a song. Not a description of the drawing, but what it makes them think of. Vague enough to hide it, close enough to be found.

STEP 3 ADD A DECOY Everyone else picks a card from their own hand that could also fit that clue. All the cards go on the table shuffled and numbered, with no names attached — nobody knows whose is whose.

STEP 4 GUESS AND SCORE Everyone except the storyteller votes for the card they believe is the storyteller's. If some but not all find it, the storyteller and everyone who guessed right take 3 points. If all or nobody find it, the storyteller takes 0 and everyone else takes 2. On top of that, every vote your own decoy attracted is 1 point for you.

ANOTHER WAY TO USE IT A REFLECTION ROUND No points, no guessing, no winner. Use the deck to open a conversation instead of a game.

Lay the cards out face up, or let everyone browse the deck on their phone. Ask one question — how do you feel today? what was this week like? what do you take home from this project? Everyone quietly picks the one card that answers it for them. Then go around the circle. One by one, each person shows their card and says why they chose it and what it means to them. Nobody interprets anyone else's card. It works at the end of a workshop day, after a difficult session, or on a first evening when a group is still getting to know each other.

THE SYMBOL BANK

Before the cards, everyone drew single ideas on yellow paper — a feeling, a place, a warning, a thing they wanted to say. These sheets are the vocabulary the deck was built from, scanned exactly as they were drawn.

WHO MADE IT?

Drawn by the participants of It is OK!, an Erasmus+ youth exchange hosted by SNJKU at the Blue Whale Education Center in Tauchen, 17–25 August 2026. Young people from Austria, Poland, Italy, Spain, Türkiye and Czechia.
